In Russia, there are around 40 indigenous communities, or about 300,000 people. Most of these tribes are located in Siberia and the Russian Far East.

 

The people of the Udege are constantly decreasing and in 2017 there were only 1700 of them distributed in the Primorsky region as well as in the rest of Russia.
