The Good Land Island is a long-term photo project about the small Landegode island which lies above the Polar Circle in Norway.

The island is home for about 40 people and its inhabitants live there as a small community, each one of them having a specific role on the island: the fisherman, the postwoman, the man in charge of the garbage, the employees of the local supermarket, etc.

In 2022, the local school closed down as less children live on the island. Landegode is facing with an aging population and rural exodus, but the people from the island are determined to stay and make the island's legacy lives on.
